In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Leadership Alliance between The Agency and the Greater Binghamton Chamber of Commerce established the COVID-19 Economic Response, Recovery, & Resiliency Task Force. When surveyed, the most requested service outside of financial assistance was a reliable, real-time source of information. The Task Force was charged with developing the Resiliency Toolkit for Broome County Businesses, a comprehensive guide on funding opportunities available at local, state and federal levels, as well as the Broome County Reopening Playbook, a detailed guide on reopening protocols per industry as set by the New York State Department of Health and the Center for Disease Control. The Task Force continues to track the same key performance indicators as presented in this dashboard to continue to provide business and community leaders with best practices and effective COVID-19 operating strategies.
